Properties：Diglyme is a colorless flammable liquid, smell slightly like ether. Melting point: -64 ~ -68℃, Boiling point: 162℃. It can be miscible with water, alcohol, ether and hydrocarbon solvents. It is stable, not easy to react, but in the presence of high temperature acid catalyst, decomposition will occur. It can form peroxides with oxygen.

Uses：Diglyme is an excellent aprotic polar solvent, which can be used for polar organic reactions. For example, it can be used as a solvent for anionic polymerization and coordination polymerization. It can also be used as reduction, alkylation and condensation reactions. Also, it can be used as a medium for Grignard and similar synthesis. It is also used as pollution-free cleaning agent, extraction agent, diluent, pharmaceutical additives and resin solvent.

Storage：Keep containers tightly closed and store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat, sparks and heated sources. Store separately from oxidizers and acids, and do not mix storage.
