Properties：This product is a colorless transparent liquid with a chloroform-like odor. It is miscible with acetone, ethanol, and ether, and is highly soluble in benzene and chloroform, but insoluble in water. Boiling point: 48ºC. Flash point: 6ºC. It is flammable and can ignite upon contact with open flames or high heat. It reacts strongly with oxidizing agents and may form explosive chloroacetylene when in contact with copper and its alloys.

Uses：Trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene is mainly used as a precision electronic cleaning agent. Compared to traditional chlorinated solvents and bromide solvents, trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene has an extremely short atmospheric retention time, which prevents it from destroying the stratospheric ozone layer, thereby helping to slow global warming. Unlike dichloromethane, perchloroethylene, or trichloroethylene, trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene is not regulated by the U.S. National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for halogenated solvent cleaning.  Additionally, it has been reviewed and approved by the U.S. EPA's Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) as an acceptable substitute for ozone-depleting substances. With its low toxicity, high efficiency and more favorable regulatory environment, trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene is becoming an ideal alternative to traditional solvents in many industries, providing a safer, environmentally friendly and efficient solution for precision cleaning.
