Properties:Fluoroethylene carbonate is a colorless transparent liquid at room temperature. Melting point: 18–23℃, Boiling point: 212℃, Relative density: 1.454 g/mL (25℃), Refractive index: 1.4538, Flash point: 101.7℃. It is highly hygroscopic, tends to solidify under low temperature conditions, miscible with organic solvents such as dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and ethylene carbonate (EC), and slightly soluble in water.

Applications:Fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC), is a core electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries, designed for high-rate, high-energy-density applications. It is widely used in 3C digital products, new energy vehicle power batteries, and energy storage systems, especially suitable for high-end lithium battery systems with silicon-based anodes.

Its core functions and action mechanisms are as follows: it can preferentially form a dense, stable SEI film on the electrode surface, effectively preventing electrolyte decomposition and reducing irreversible capacity loss; it can inhibit volume expansion of silicon-based anodes, alleviate structural degradation, and enhance the stability of the battery system. It can also improve the ionic conductivity and low-temperature fluidity of the electrolyte, optimize the low-temperature discharge performance, and effectively suppress the growth of lithium dendrites. In addition, it can improve the safety and reliability of the battery, reduce polarization and internal resistance, and fully meet the application needs of high-performance lithium battery systems.

Storage:Store in hermetically sealed containers under nitrogen/argon atmosphere. Recommended storage temperature: 2–8°C. For short-term industrial storage: below 35°C. Keep in cool, dry, well-ventilated area, protected from light, heat, flames, sparks and strong oxidizing agents.

Packing:Stainless steel barrel pressure tanks (nitrogen pressure: 0.05-0.10Mpa), available in specifications such as 200kg/barrel and ISO Tank to meet different batch purchase needs.
